You know, I certainly don't think that I will ever get used to the sound of doors shutting in my face. Yes, I just lost another job due to the business closing. I mean, what the hell is going on?! Am I bad luck or something?
Honestly, it can't all be me. I seriously don't think that I am the reason for all of this closing, but I obviously am the cause of my hitching rides to the top with people who are balanced precariously on the edge of greatness. Apparently there is only room for one on that ledge & I keep knocking 'em off to make room for me.
That's right. Each step I take back is still pushing me higher.
However, I'm afraid that I might just be the one who is about to step to the edge...and be pushed off.
